About Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis

HYPNOSIS - A FAMILIAR AND COMFORTABLE STATE

Hypnosis is trance state that we have all experienced in our everyday life. Using hypnosis we can access the subconscious mind, allowing positive changes to be brought about more quickly and effectively.

It is a familiar and comfortable state that occurs each night before we fall asleep as we move into a hypnoidal state, then into sleep. Another illustration of hypnosis is driving your car and finding yourself at home or work and not remembering which way you took. Daydreaming is another variation of a trance. All of these are very common and natural instances of light hypnosis.

A SHORT HISTORY OF HYPNOSIS

A Persian psychologist and physician named Avicenna (980-1037) was the first person to differentiate sleep and hypnosis in a book he published in 1027 called The Book of Healing.

The Scottish Surgeon James Braid came up with the name hypnosis in 1842. He wrote the first ever book on hypnotism called Neurypnology in 1843. From Freud to Erikson, there have been studies and strides made to help people find the comfort, calm, motivation, confidence, relief from bad habits, fears, anxieties and more that they so desperately need, through the use of hypnosis

A HEALTHY AND EFFECTIVE WAY TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS

Hypnotherapy is a natural, drug free way to help you through difficult times, situations, and problems that occur as you live your life.

With each session you will receive a personal recording of the hypnosis as part of the session. Listening to the recordings allows you to use the repetition of the suggestions, which can enhance and quicken your positive results.
